The conference focuses on the significant role assistive

education, employment and the community.
Since 1988, Rhode Island has
held this Statewide Conference on Assistive Technology issues and practices.
Established as a forum for the community to learn about assistive
technology, the conference attracts over 400 participants each year,
including assistive technology users, families, and direct service providers
from all areas of practice, from all over
southern New England.
